Cozy Game Restoration release date
The game unlocked worldwide on 5 November 2026 at 00:00 UTC. In the United States that is the evening of 4 November (16:00 PST, 19:00 EST). The Steam store prints “Nov 4, 2026.” LadiesGamers printed November 5. Both describe the same hour. A Google panel date of 7 May 2026 was the playtest window, not the launch.

Why the dates look like they fight
Steam’s storefront date is local to the US afternoon of 4 November. The developer’s clock is one UTC instant: 5 November 2026, 00:00. Japan is 09:00 JST that morning. Melbourne is 11:00 AEDT. The developer’s post labels that Melbourne line “AEST”; that timezone label conflicts with the November daylight-saving offset. Its 11:00 clock agrees with the other cities only when read as AEDT. The source wording is retained here as a discrepancy. I will not collapse those into a single “it came out on the 4th” sentence without the clock.
The September date was a plan, then a delay. If you see “September 24” on an old preview, that plan was replaced on 7 August 2026.
