Cozy Game Restoration vs ReStory
They are different games that share a bundle. ReStory is a narrative electronics-repair shop in 2000s Tokyo, with customer stories and more than one ending. Cozy Game Restoration is a cartridge-cleaning collector: 108 fictional titles, 216 regional variants, shelf bonuses, no timer. ReStory is $19.99. Cozy is $14.99. The pair is $31.48 in the Steam bundle.

Which purchase matches which mood
Pick ReStory if you want customers, branching endings, and the usual Steam extras already turned on. Pick Cozy Game Restoration if you want a shelf of fake retro games, a cheaper entry, and no fail state. I am not crowning a winner. The bundle saves $3.50 against buying both at list, which only matters if you already want both.
Neither game is a Switch 2, PS5, or Xbox release. Catalyst Gaming Media checked ReStory’s consoles on 7 August 2026 and found none. Do not buy ReStory because you hope it is the “handheld” one. Both checkouts are PC and Mac.
ReStory is not a prequel and not a sequel. The shared word “restoration” is marketing gravity, not a shared save file.
