Does Cozy Game Restoration use AI?
I cannot tell you that the game uses generative AI, and I cannot tell you that it does not. On 7 November 2026 the Steam store page, the studio site, the about page, and the launch and patch posts contained no AI disclosure. Steam also was not showing an AI-generated content label on that page.

Valve’s store shows an AI disclosure when a developer files one. I did not see that block on the Cozy Game Restoration page. Absence of a label is not a sworn statement that no model was used. It is the absence of a label. The studio about page names Parasol Corp, Melbourne, and a press contact. It does not discuss tools.
Earlier keyword research recorded a discussion title, “Use of AI?”. The current public discussion index did not expose that title or a readable post body during this review, so it supplies no evidence about development tools.
Procedural dirt is a different phrase
The studio describes cartridges as procedurally dirtied, with randomised condition. That sentence is about the sim rolling stains and attributes when a parcel opens. It is not, by itself, a claim that the label art or the writing came from a generative model. I will not upgrade “procedural” into “AI art,” and I will not upgrade the missing label into “no AI was used.”
If Parasol posts a disclosure, or if the discussion text becomes readable without guessing, this page should change and the date at the top should move with it. Until then the honest article is this short record of a gap.
