How to remove stickers and glue

Warm the sticker with the heat gun, lift an edge with the tweezers, and clean the film with solvent. Pulling a cold sticker leaves adhesive, which is a different bar from the sticker itself. There is no official second-count for the heat gun. I will not invent one.

Sticker, then film, then ink

The sticker and the glue are not one stain. Into Indie Games, Vaagame, and the Steam community peel guide agree on the pair of tools: heat, then tweezers. The misuse line on the tweezers is specific. If you yank before the adhesive lets go, the paper comes off and the sticky stays, and solvent is what takes the sticky.

Solvent is a dropper plus a cotton tip in those guides. The heat gun also dries solvent and blows loose crumbs. It is doing two jobs, which is why people aim it at a sticker and then wonder why a haze remains. The haze is the ink-and-adhesive bar, not a failed peel.

SmashPad wrote that heating for about half a minute still left glue. That is one reviewer’s session, not a studio timing chart. I record it as “heat alone may not finish the bar,” and I stop there.

What the screenshots show

Terry Armwrap’s Punch Fest sits at 5 percent with a corner sticker and cyan marker. Story of Hats shows tweezers on a gold shell at 4 percent. Marker scribbles are ink. Price stickers and a RARE sticker on a parcel are stickers. Treat the colored pen as solvent work and the paper label as heat-and-tweezers work. Mixing them is how a Stickers bar hits 100 while Ink sits in the 70s, which is exactly the public D-grade screen: stickers already perfect, ink at 73.

A June demo note said the force-based tape pull was scrapped for box tape. Tweezers stayed the sticker tool. If an old clip shows you wrestling packing tape with a physics pull, that system was already gone in the June demo.

Questions

Do I heat the whole cartridge?

The guides say heat the sticker until it softens. They do not say to bake the shell. I have no temperature.

Can polish lift a sticker?

No. Polish is the scratch bar. A sticker wants heat and tweezers.

Are price stickers worth more if I leave them?

I have no published bonus for leaving a price sticker on. The grade wants the sticker bar clear.
